We estimate the work from its scope, technical uncertainty, integrations and delivery responsibilities. A proposal describes deliverables, assumptions, milestones and the commercial arrangement.

Can we start with a small engagement?

Yes. A review, discovery phase or feasibility study can establish a useful direction before committing to a larger development programme.

What should we prepare for a first conversation?

Bring the problem, the people affected, relevant systems and any constraints on timing or budget. A finished specification is not required.
